| 1990 - Genesis

ESTP creates the school at the request of the Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics (FNTP) & the Fédération Française du Bâtiment (FFB) and companies in the construction sector. This marks the birth of a new post-baccalaureate engineering course that takes into account candidates' motivation for the building and public works sector

| 1992 - Accreditation

ESITC Paris was accredited for the first time on 12 May 1992 by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI) under the name ÉCOLE SUPÉRIEURE DES TRAVAUX PUBLICS DE CACHAN (ESTP Cachan). It welcomed its first student-engineers the following September

| 1997 - Confirmation

On 6 May 1997, the school changed its name to ÉCOLE SUPÉRIEURE D'INGÉNIEURS DES TRAVAUX DE LA CONSTRUCTION DE CACHAN (ESITC Cachan). It is once again accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (Engineering Qualifications Commission)

| 2000 - A lasting recognition

On 11 July 2000, the School was once again accredited by the CTI, for a period of 6 years (maximum duration of accreditation)

| 2001 - State recognition

Ministerial Order of 18 July 2001 (Journal Officiel of 26 July 2001)

| 2012 - Apprenticeship programme opens

ESITC Cachan is authorised by the CTI to offer apprenticeship training

| 2015 - EESPIG label awarded

ESITC CACHAN was recognised as a Private Educational Establishment of General Interest (EESPIG) by Ministerial Order - MENS1500429A on 6 July 2015.

| 2017 - ESITC Cachan becomes ESITC Paris

On 1 September 2017, the school moved to ARCUEIL, in a building it had acquired, and became the ECOLE SUPERIEURE D'INGENIEURS DES TRAVAUX DE LA CONSTRUCTION DE PARIS (ESITC Paris).

| 2022 - Opening of a new campus in Égletons

In September 2022, ESITC Paris will open an engineering apprenticeship programme on the EATP campus in Egletons

| 2022 - Opening of a new programme

In September 2023, in partnership with ENSA-Paris Val de Seine, ESITC Paris will open a 6-year Architect-Engineer double degree programme
