⎢Program Objectives

The program aims to develop scientific, technical, and managerial skills while fostering essential human qualities necessary for the engineering profession. Combining academic excellence with practical approaches, the program equips students to adapt to the constantly evolving demands of the professional world.

□ Preparatory Cycle – 2 Years

• Introduction to Construction : From the first year, students are introduced to construction technologies and practices

• Project-Based Learning : A practical, project-focused pedagogy allows students to apply theoretical knowledge early in their studies

• Transition from High School : The preparatory cycle provides foundational technical knowledge alongside general and scientific fundamentals. To ease the transition, tutoring and support courses are available for students facing challenges

• Continuous Assessment : Knowledge is evaluated continuously throughout the academic year

• Worker Internship : At the end of the first year, a mandatory worker internship gives students hands-on experience in the construction sector and an opportunity to apply their technical knowledge.

□ Engineering Cycle – 3 Years

• Specialization and Advanced Knowledge : This cycle focuses on advanced technical, managerial, and communication skills

• Majors : At the end of the fourth year, students select a major from the following options : 

  • ​Sustainable Building

  • Roads, Civil Engineering Structures & Regional Planning

  • Materials & Sustainable Structures

  • Sustainable Engineering & Architecture

• Internships : Three internships are integrated into the program, including two major ones that provide substantial professional experience

• Final Year : Students focus on acquiring advanced theoretical knowledge, completing a Final Year Project (Projet de Fin d’Études, PFE) and a Final Internship (Stage de Fin d’Études, TFE) lasting a minimum of four months

⎢Teaching and Methodology

• Teaching Units (U.E.) : The program is structured into teaching units, validated each semester and awarding ECTS credits

• Projects and Internships : Project-based learning and internships are embedded in the curriculum, ensuring practical and hands-on training

• Corporate Partnerships : Each cohort is sponsored by a partner company, fostering professional integration and networking opportunities

⎢Language Requirement

A minimum B2 level in French is required to follow this program. This proficiency level is essential, as the majority of courses are taught in French, ensuring that students can fully engage with the curriculum, participate in group projects, and succeed in their academic and professional training.

⎢Admissions and Egibility

ESITC Paris offers several admission pathways :

• Preparatory Cycle : Open to high school graduates (baccalauréat) and a limited number of candidates seeking reorientation after completing high school. Some candidates may join the second year of the preparatory cycle after completing a Bac+1 in an engineering school, preparatory classes for highet education institutions (CPGE), or civil engineering program
• Engineering Cycle : Open to candidates with a Bac+2/3 diploma in civil engineering or related fields

⎢ International Opportunities and Advanced Studies

• International Mobility: Students gain international exposure through internships or academic exchanges at partner universities abroad, enriching their education and broadening global perspectives
• Double Degree in Business Management: In their fifth year, students have the opportunity to undertake a four-month complementary program at IAE Gustave Eiffel. This allows them to earn a double degree in Business Management, enhancing their managerial skills and opening additional career paths
• Further Studies: Graduates can pursue advanced degrees, such as Specialized Master’s (MS), Master of Science (MSc), or programs at prestigious business schools. Doctoral programs are also an option for those aiming to pursue research careers
