Established with the support of the French National Federation of Public Works (FNTP), the French Building Federation (FFB), and SYNTEC Engineering, the "Network of Advanced Construction Schools (RESC)" is dedicated to meeting the training and research demands of the construction and infrastructure sectors, particularly in the face of environmental and digital challenges.
| A Unified Response to the Challenges of Higher Education
Each year, the five member institutions collectively train over 4,000 young professionals who will lead the transformation of tomorrow’s society. Through the "Network of Advanced Construction Schools" association, these institutions are equipped to anticipate the future needs of businesses, innovate curricula and teaching tools, and pool resources, including expertise, human capital, and finances.
To meet the profession's expectations, the schools have defined several strategic objectives :
- Expanding and aligning training programs to create a coherent and comprehensive offering
- Defining complementary pathways between different programs
- Standardizing recruitment and academic structures to harmonize student experiences
- Facilitating student mobility and exchanges across member schools
- Developing a shared research strategy, including joint projects
- Pooling international resources to increase global reach
| Strategic Developments
The network has outlined several priority areas to strengthen its impact :
- Creation of a Unified Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA): To better serve students and companies, offering collaborative training opportunities
- Collaboration in Research and Development: By sharing technical resources, establishing research chairs, co-investing in necessary equipment, and recruiting teaching and research staff
- Enhancing the Training Offer: Expanding programs with new pathways and specialized master’s degrees, while creating opportunities for cross-school mobility
- Regional and International Growth: Increasing the recruitment of international students, launching geographical expansion projects, and developing global connections to align with the industry’s internationalization
